Are you a passionate and adaptable Teacher with experience covering a range of subjects across secondary year groups? Cover People are seeking a General Cover Teacher for a high schools based in Wythenshawe, South Manchester, available for short term, flexible cover.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking for regular supply work without the commitment of a full-time timetable. You will be joining a welcoming and values-driven school community

This opportunity would suit candidates local to Trafford and surrounding areas who are looking to establish a regular working relationship with a supportive school.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise a variety of pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
Log any safeguarding or behaviour concerns promptly and accurately
Promote engagement and ensure pupils complete set work effectively
Step in to plan or adapt lesson activities when cover work is unavailable
Provide brief feedback to teaching staff on pupil behaviour and lesson progress
Uphold the school’s values and promote a respectful, inclusive classroom culture
Support pupils with additional needs where appropriate, under teacher/department guidance
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience delivering the UK secondary curriculum
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Adaptable, reliable, and confident covering multiple subject areas
Right to work in the UK
