Main tasks handled by an Audit and Accounts Manager:
* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
* Lead and review audit assignments and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
* Oversee the preparation and review of accounts, including limited companies, consolidated groups, and charities.
* Support the Partner with elements of an existing client book.
* Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
* Assist with practice management tasks such as workflow improvements, WIP monitoring, and process development.
Qualifications to succeed as an Audit and Accounts Manager:
* ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
* Strong technical expertise within audit and financial reporting.
* Proven experience managing a client portfolio.
* Excellent communication and client management skills.
* Confident working independently and capable of taking initiative in a managerial role.
