Energy Manager: Technical Facility Services Energy Management & Utilities
We are looking for an Energy Manager to join the Airbus Facilities Management and Real Estate (FMRE) organisation at Belfast. In this role you will ensure the site achieves the Energy, Sustainability and Compliance for FMRE in order to achieve operational, functional and Company strategic objectives in full compliance with all relevant regulations aligning to the transnational organisation.
You may interface into the FMRE transnational team and UK Business key stakeholder to support the V2030 and our Top Functional Objectives (TFO) in the areas of responsibility for energy, water and the decarbonisation in relation to CO2 strategy. The job holder will be responsible for understanding market activities, trends, innovations to identify, prioritise, drive, support and monitor investments within the UK sites and communicate with other FMRE functions and environmental organisations within the organisation.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
* Define strategy and policy for energy management and supply, propose and coordinate energy saving projects
* Understand customer needs and operational changes in demand to assess, plan and communicate any associated investment and actions and updates on performance
* Anticipate and shape international / national regulation, benchmark investigate and experiment new technologies, digitalisation and best practices for energy
* Evaluate new regulation impacting energy, manage energy supply delivery point, manage energy sold to public grid and tenants
* Collect data, ensure accuracy and availability of energy data, report energy and CO2 for authorities:
* Ensure the supply of energy to operate Airbus business and the implementation of measures to reduce energy and water consumption
* Financial management, budgeting and spend, manage site energy saving projects
* Knowledge and deployment of the Airbus Energy Management System
* Deploy the governance to measure, report and cascade information on performance against the Corporate targets for Energy reduction, De-carbonisation, water utilisation
* Define and develop associated UK and site route maps for the delivery of the Corporate Sustainability directives on Energy Efficiency, Water, and De-Carbonisation of the Energy Supply (or equivalent objectives)
ABOUT YOU
* Degree or equivalent in Energy / Environmental management or related area
* Demonstrated experience working in the energy management field
* Fluent in English verbally and written
* Financial management experience
* Project Management skills
* Energy data analysis and performance management
* Energy efficiency Eng. in operations and sites
* Sustainability regulations and compliance
* Establish FMRE specification
* ISO 50001 energy management standard, or equivalent
* Know the global and local energy market
* Partner and subcontractor management
* Project management fundamentals
