Our client, based in Northern Ireland, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. In this role, you will inspect work in progress and finished products against drawings and quality standards, and assist with the management of non-conforming products and materials.
Full training will be provided to ensure you understand the company’s in-house systems and processes.
What we will ask of you:
You will be responsible for:
* Inspecting and testing materials and products to ensure quality specifications and standards are met.
* Recording and reporting quality inspection findings.
* Assisting with the disposition of non-conforming products and materials.
* Recording traceability and quality control information.
* Assisting with other tasks as required, commensurate with the role.
* Performing goods-in checks.
* Providing data for analysis purposes, e.g., dimension reports, first article inspection reports.
* Communicating any issues to team coordinators and the quality team.
Essential Requirements:
* 6 months+ experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to use factory production computer systems.
* Strong attention to detail, including accurate form completion.
* Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
* Willingness to work shifts and additional hours to support production needs.
* UKVI IELTS qualification is required.
Preferred:
* Quality assurance/control qualifications.
* Experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.
* Flexibility and cooperative attitude.
