Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential care to patients registered at our Practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. You will be required to work until 8.00pm once a week, to be discussed.
Duties
* Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
* Care out various duties including dressings, injections, ECGs, Phlebotomy, NHS health checks plus other duties, all after appropriate training and sign off by qualified nurse.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
* Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
* Strong IT skills for maintaining patient records and documentation.
* Proficient in English with excellent verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for those required to travel between locations.
