We’re working with a fantastic three-form entry primary school in Esher that is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement strategies that support learning, emotional regulation and engagement.
Key responsibilities:
Provide targeted SEN support within the classroom
Support pupils with focus, communication and emotional regulation
Adapt learning activities so pupils can fully access the curriculum
Help build pupils’ confidence, independence and social skills
Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support teamWe’re looking for someone who:
Has strong experience supporting SEN pupils in a primary setting
Is calm, patient and able to build strong relationships with children
Understands strategies around autism, ADHD, speech & language or SEMH
Is proactive, positive and enjoys being part of a team
