Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
* Engage with guests to ensure an enjoyable experience, taking orders accurately and delivering prompt service
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
* Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
* Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
* Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving
* Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles, is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
* A personable attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
