Maintenance Manager - Woking VISION OF THE ROLE: Manage and actively participate in the maintenance of the building, surrounding grounds and equipment within Hoebridge Golf Centre and liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth coordination of annual services and H&S compliance. To safeguard the long-term success of Burhill Golf Ltd for its stakeholders, the Maintenance Manager will display determination and focus in supporting the General Manager to maintain the highest possible standards ensuring that Hoebridge is recognised as the premier family-centric golf and leisure destination of the surrounding area. MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS: The Maintenance Manager will be measured against key criteria: Passing audits Customer loyalty measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) General Manager reviews, Head of Department feedback, operational feedback, and personal objectives KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and actively complete the day to day maintenance of the Clubhouse and Grounds of Hoebridge Golf Centre. To carry out, under direction of the General Manager, various routine maintenance tasks including painting and general repairs. Oversee the daily performance of the Adventure Golf and Driving Range Maintenance team, with the support of their Head of Department. Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Maintain all equipment to the approved standard of use adhering to Health and Safety guidelines. Responsible for maintaining all service records meeting the company standard. Set high performance standards and participate in internal and external audits. Ensure policies and procedures meet statutory and audit requirements. Manage and monitor the performance of suppliers, contractors, consultants and other delivery partners on a regular basis to ensure regulatory targets are met, quality of workmanship and service is maintained and a 'value for money' service provided. Be able to use all types of maintenance tools including drills, soldering equipment, jig saws, grinding machines, hand tools, saws etc: conforming to Health and Safety regulation. - Maintain up to date training records. Operate within the agreed equipment maintenance budget. Communicate equipment needs and operational expectancy to the General Manager. Maintain good communications/relations with both departmental staff and outside suppliers. Ensure the workshop environment is maintained to an organized, clean standard at all times. To prioritise work in conjunction with the needs of the business. * Complies with BGL personnel policies and procedures and health and safety procedures. To undertake any further duties as requested by the management.
