We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Phototherapy Nurse to join our Dermatology team at Health Harmonie. You will play a key role in delivering safe and effective phototherapy treatments to patients with a range of dermatological conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and other chronic skin disorders.
Responsibilities
* Administer phototherapy treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
* Monitor patients during and after treatment for adverse reactions and ensure safety procedures are followed.
* Educate patients on treatment plans, skin care, and phototherapy risks and benefits.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems.
* Collaborate with dermatologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to safety standards.

Person Specification
Experience
* Previous experience in dermatology or phototherapy is essential.
* Experience using Daavlin, Waldmann, or similar phototherapy units.
* Familiarity with EMIS or similar electronic patient record systems.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (NMC registration required).
* Knowledge of skin conditions and their management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
