We are currently searching for a Registered Nurses / Recovery Department Practitioner to join our experienced team for day and night rotation. The role involves planning, implementing and evaluating an individual programme of care for each patient within its own sphere of responsibility, and working as part of the multi‑disciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care. The staff in these areas are responsible for monitoring acutely ill patients (adults and children) following surgery, with conditions varying from routine post‑op to high‑dependency level. This post will also include supporting the whole critical care directorate as required.
Responsibilities
* Plan, implement and evaluate an individual programme of care for each patient within own sphere of responsibility.
* Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high standard of care to patients.
* Act as team leader, including taking charge of Recovery in the absence of the Recovery Managers / Deputy Recovery Manager.
* Participate in all relevant aspects of the governance process.
* Adhere to the NMC code of professional conduct at all times and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications
You must be a qualified, experienced RN/ODP preferably within an acute setting although this is not essential.
