The role
12 UX Design Consultant
Hybrid – 3 days a week in Dorking office
What will you be doing?
What will you bring?
We’re looking for a UX Designer to spearhead the development of outstanding user experiences. This is a hands‑on role focused on practical delivery, requiring strong UX expertise, analytical ability, and a user‑centred approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end‑to‑end UX design process, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to define user needs and convert them into actionable design solutions.
* Conduct user research, develop personas and map user journeys.
* Design and prototype high‑fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma.
* Plan and oversee usability testing sessions.
* Champion accessibility and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Optimise user journeys by analysing behaviour patterns and conversion paths.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to align content and design.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in UX design with a strong portfolio.
* Strong research capability.
* Proficiency in tools such as Figma.
* Ability to interpret data and translate findings into UX enhancements.
* Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG AA).
* Strong communication skills.
