Despatch Operative – Temp to Perm
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Pay Rate: £13.62 per hour
Hours:
1. Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
2. Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
We are recruiting for a reliable and proactive Despatch Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Preparing and processing goods for despatch
4. Loading wagons, including some outside the premises
5. Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
6. Supporting the smooth operation of the despatch department
7. Performing general warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
8. Valid counterbalance forklift licence
9. Full UK driving licence
10. Previous experience in a despatch or warehouse role is desirable
11. Strong computer and communication skills
12. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work flexibly
