Overview
With the takeover of the Business and new Directors, we at Pathfinder Homes are growing and now looking to take on an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance Office.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for figures while displaying meticulous attention to detail. A flexible approach is required in line with the business need.
Duties
To use a working knowledge of Sage/Advantage accounts systems to assist the Finance Manager in the day-to-day running of the Finance Office.
· Processing purchase invoices, credit notes and price checking accurately and in a timely manner.
· Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems (digital and paper).
· Supporting with payroll preparation and timesheet collation.
· Handling supplier queries
· Supporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding debts.
· Producing ad hoc reports and financial data for the Finance Manager as required.
· Assisting with month-end and year-end processes.
· Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Skills
· Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
· Good attention to detail.
· Reliability and flexibility.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
