Trade Mastermind is a leading business education provider dedicated to helping tradespeople transition into successful business owners. Through our comprehensive 12‑month academy programme, we equip participants with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence needed to build and scale their businesses.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Trainer & Coach with a strong background in business management, training delivery, coaching, and public speaking. This role is central to supporting our academy participants as they progress through their business journey, providing them with guidance, structure, and actionable strategies to achieve meaningful results.
The Role
As a Business Trainer & Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality training, mentorship, and coaching across our academy curriculum. You will collaborate with the curriculum development team to ensure the programme remains relevant, innovative, and aligned with the latest industry standards and best practice. Your role will involve delivering engaging and interactive sessions both in person and online, ensuring that each participant receives an exceptional learning experience tailored to their needs.
Alongside group delivery, you will provide one‑to‑one coaching and dedicated mentorship, supporting participants in applying strategies to their own businesses and navigating the challenges of business ownership. Your ability to motivate, guide, and hold participants accountable will be essential to their long‑term success.
You will also represent Trade Mastermind at industry events, conferences, and workshops, delivering high‑impact presentations that educate and inspire wider audiences. Your presence will help position Trade Mastermind as a leading voice in business education for the trade sector.
In addition, you will monitor participant progress through regular evaluations and feedback sessions, identifying areas where additional support or learning resources may be required. You will be expected to stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and evolving business practices to ensure our programme remains cutting‑edge and highly effective.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need proven experience in business management, ideally within the trades or construction industry. You should have a strong foundation in training, coaching, or curriculum development, combined with a genuine passion for mentoring business owners. Exceptional public speaking skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly, inspire confidence, and engage diverse audiences. You will bring a high level of empathy, patience, and leadership, ensuring participants feel fully supported throughout their journey.
You should be highly organised, able to manage multiple responsibilities, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment. A degree in business, education, or a related field is preferred, and additional qualifications or professional certifications are beneficial.
