Responsibilities
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Hyundai requirements, including preparing technical reports.
* Read and understand all job cards before commencing work.
* Report any additional work or parts required to the Workshop Controller for customer authorisation before starting that work.
* Protect customers' cars from damage while in the workshop environment.
* Complete necessary documentation for warranty work and be responsible for labeling and safekeeping of all warranty displacement parts.
* Ensure displaced parts for disposal are made unusable.
* Keep special tools and equipment in good order and notify of any problems immediately.
* Maintain the work bay and surrounding areas in a clean and tidy fashion.
* Work in a manner that adheres to HMUK safety policy and procedures.
* Ensure technical reports are correctly prepared as measured by Hyundai Warranty and Operating Standards Audits.
* Ensure all work is performed to the highest standard as measured by Hyundai Customer Satisfaction Reports.
* Work as efficiently as possible as measured by Hyundai Monthly Dealer Composite Reports.
Person Specification
* Preference given to technicians trained to Master technician or equivalent level.
* IMI level 4.
* Previous Franchised Dealer technical experience.
* Full clean UK Driving Licence.
* Ability to work in a clean and organised manner.
* Willingness to work in a team.
