Legal Assistant (Commercial Property), Bedford, c GBP 25,000: Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a passion for Commercial Property law? We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join this dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment while providing excellent service. JOB REF 9808.


The Role

1. Maintain the Fee Earner's diaries, arranging meetings and appointments efficiently.
2. Handle routine client correspondence and queries with professionalism.
3. Open and close client files in accordance with firm procedures.
4. Attend to clients in person and over the phone, reflecting the firm's high standard of client care.
5. Create and maintain accurate client records on the firm's database, ensuring all communications and file notes are recorded in compliance with HCB's and Lexcel's requirements.
6. Prepare client correspondence and enclosures for mailing, including billing and invoicing.
7. Request payments and record receipts of client monies accurately.
8. Provide reception cover as needed, ensuring smooth operation of office duties.


Skills Required

1. Previous experience working as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, ideally within Commercial Property.
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
3. Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise a diverse workload.
4. Discretion when handling sensitive client matters.
5. Exceptional organisational skills with a methodical approach to tasks.
6. Self-motivation and a proactive attitude.
7. A commitment to delivering excellent service to clients and colleagues.


On Offer

1. Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:15, with a one-hour lunch break (Office-Based).
