Primary SEN Teacher Roles – Cambridge
We are currently partnering with a specialist SEN setting in the Cambridge area that is looking to appoint Primary SEN Teachers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, starting September.
This school supports primary-aged pupils with autism, providing a calm, structured environment where children are supported to develop academically, socially, and emotionally at their own pace.

About the Opportunity
This role is focused on early learning and development, so you’ll play a key part in building strong foundations for young learners. The school places a strong emphasis on routine, consistency, and individualised support.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver adapted primary curriculum lessons suited to a range of learning needs
* Support children with communication, interaction and emotional regulation
* Create a safe, engaging classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence
* Use structured approaches and visual strategies to support understanding
* Work closely with support staff and specialists to meet each child’s needs

What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from teachers who:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
* Have experience working with SEN pupils, particularly within a primary or early years setting
* Are patient, nurturing, and adaptable in their approach
* Feel confident in a hands-on classroom environment
* Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service, or are willing to apply
