Clinical Experience & Training: Essential criteria Recent wide experience and completion of Specialist training and ability in general histopathology and morbid anatomy. Good writing and presentation skills Willingness to develop an area of special interest to fit in with current establishment and service needs Desirable criteria Specialist reporting experience in GI, dermatopathology, gynaecological pathology pulmonary pathology, breast pathology, urological pathology, 'head and neck' pathology, 'Soft Tissue and Bone' pathology Experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Recognised teaching skills course/ medical education qualification Academic Achievements, Research, Publications Essential criteria Evidence of audit and the implementation of change following the audit. Desirable criteria Evidence of having undertaken original research. Publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals in the last five years. Management and Administrative Experience: Essential criteria Ability to organise and prioritise their workload effectively.
