Supported Housing OfficerA well-established charity is currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Buckinghamshire. This role will focus on supporting homeless persons, whilst they stay within temporary accommodation.Length: Temporary to permnanentHours: 37 hours per week Shifts: 8am-4pm, 11am-7pm, 1:30pm- 9:30pm and one in 3 weekends
Location: High WycombeRole responsibilities:• Deliver emotional and life skills based support, assisting service users with day-to-day tasks• Complete support plans and risk assessments with the service users• Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low-level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears• Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting• Carry out regular estate inspections• Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements• Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies• Manage void properties to ensure the quickest re-let times including carrying out viewings and sign-upsEssential requirements:• An Enhanced DBS with the Adults and Children’s lists checked from within the last 3 years or willingness to apply• Knowledge of working with vulnerable young people• Working knowledge of support plans and risk assessmentsTo apply for this exciting role please submit your updated CV.
