Senior Quantity Surveyor (Fire Protection) - Cockermouth
£65,000 to £70,000 per annum plus car allowance and bonus
Benefits
* Basic salary circa £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
* Car allowance circa £4k
* 20 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown and bank holidays (31 in total)
* 8.30 am to 5 pm working hours (30min break)
* Friday working from home
* Discretionary bonus up to 10% after 12 months employment
* 3% employee pension contributions
Job Role & Responsibilities
* Commercially manage fire protection work on Cockermouth
* Offer value engineering
* Costings off a schedule of rates
* Work closely with the site team to ensure projects are completed within budget
* Carry out monthly cost value reports
* Attend site meetings
* Complete final accounts

Established business with 20 years trading history. Circa £20 million annual turnover. Excellent client base including tier 1, tier 2 and SMEs. Industrial projects working on Sellafield.
Knowledge / Experience
* A proven history working as a Quantity Surveyor
* Open to sector experience either main contractor or specialist subcontractor
* Preferably degree educated
* Good IT and numerical skills
* Full UK driving license
