About the Role
We are looking for a Talent Coordinator to join our People Team on a 6 month fixed-term-contract. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers. This role exists to drive efficiency in the recruitment process by expertly coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and supporting sourcing activity for junior hiring. The Talent Coordinator contributes to SMG’s ability to attract and hire exceptional talent by delivering a seamless and proactive recruitment service.

* Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
* Previous experience in recruitment coordination, HR, or a people-focused administrative role is desirable but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your days will be dynamic. You might find yourself:
* Coordinate interviews across all levels, managing schedules, logistics, and communication between candidates, across the team and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure an excellent candidate experience, providing timely updates, clear communication, and a warm, professional point of contact throughout the hiring process.
* Support sourcing activity for junior and early-career roles, including using LinkedIn, job boards, and other tools to identify and approach suitable candidates.
* Manage job postings and ensure they are live, accurate, and engaging across relevant platforms.
* Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support the smooth delivery of end-to-end recruitment campaigns.
* Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate records, and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and visibility of recruitment data.
* Take initiative to identify and suggest improvements in recruitment processes and candidate care.
* Confidently engage with candidates via phone and video, ensuring pace and professionalism in communication.
