We are seeking a dynamic and results driven propositions manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping our product and service offerings and help lead the platform migration workstream of Wealthtime Classic.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs, and experience in platform migrations through ITO/BPO partners.
As the proposition manager, you will be responsible for refining and executing the value propositions for our platform to ensure they deliver the best value for our advisers and clients ensuring good customer outcomes are delivered.
Core Responsibilities
- Working with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure controlled delivery of propositional enhancements in a compliant and consumer-focused way.
- Using customer insights and market research to prioritise enhancements for our advisers and clients to deliver good outcomes.
- Work closely with our product, marketing, and outsourced operations teams to ensure a joined-up approach.
- Leading the identification and communication of value propositions during platform transitions, ensuring minimal disruption to adviser and client experiences.
- Managing stakeholder expectations and change management activities related to platform enhancements and migrations.
- Reporting on gaps and recommending appropriate approaches for rectification.
- Assessing the impact of platform changes on existing propositions and developing mitigation strategies.
- Work with additional parties within the distribution chain to deliver efficiencies in service.
Specialist Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- In depth experience proposition development or product management.
- In depth experience of the platform industry.
- Experience managing or supporting platform migrations, system implementations, or significant technology transitions.
- Operational knowledge of Consumer Duty.
- The ability to solve complicated problems in line with regulatory expectations in both the letter, and spirit of the regulatory landscape.
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem solving, including persuasion and influencing skills.
- Ability to be flexible with work and have efficient prioritisation skills
Desirable
- Experience working with legacy and modern platform systems simultaneously during transition periods.
- Knowledge of data migration, system integration, or technical change management in financial services.
- Experience communicating complex technical changes to non-technical stakeholders (advisers, clients, operational teams).
- Familiarity with platform modernisation strategies and best practices in fintech.
