Locala are welcoming applications from registered nurses with a special interest in wound care.
Responsibilities
Working within the Community Nursing Network team/ CNN Tissue Viability Team, you will undertake duties involving the delivery of nursing services and holistic assessments of patients' health needs using a person-centred approach.
This includes providing quality and seamless nursing care to patients in clinic settings and in their own homes, being initiative-taking in coordinating their care needs as appropriate.
This will include utilising wound, pressure ulcer, and leg ulcer management skills and knowledge to undertake holistic assessments of patients, including the use of Doppler ultrasound techniques and interpretation skills to diagnose and plan specialized care delivery. Supporting the delivery of care in our Complex Wound and Leg Ulcer Clinics and working in collaboration with our nine Community Nursing Network Teams.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to facilitate self-care for patients with long-term conditions, health promotion, and participate in innovative activities and projects that enhance patient service delivery.
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and dependable Community Staff Nurses with a specialist tissue viability interest who are keen to support and deliver a range of quality nursing services to our patients within Kirklees. We value energy, enthusiasm, drive, and excellent professional skills.
An enthusiasm to support our teams in delivering high-quality services is essential. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be adaptable, dependable, and approachable.
Car driving is essential for this role, as you will need to travel across Kirklees to work in clinics and visit patients in their own homes.
