Key Responsibilities
•Refurbish & Repair: Execute effective heat exchanger refurbishment and repair, both in our workshops and at customer sites (occasional overnight stays may be required).
•Inspect & Quote: Conduct detailed inspections and assessments, providing reports and sketches for quotation purposes.
•Assemble & Install: Build and install heat exchange systems accurately to engineering drawings and specifications.
•Ensure Functionality: Verify proper component alignment, fit, and system functionality during installation.
•Maintain & Troubleshoot: Perform ongoing maintenance, identify mechanical issues, and conduct necessary repairs/replacements for optimal system performance.
•Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks, including pressure testing, on assembled components and finished systems to ensure compliance with standards.
•Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise records for all maintenance, repairs, and installations.
•Collaborative Work: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and team members to ensure successful project execution and efficient system integration.
•Safety Leadership: Adhere strictly to all company Health, Safety & Environmental policies and legislation; ensure proper PPE use; maintain workshop plant/equipment safety; identify and report hazards, and ensure safe conduct of work by self and any controlled staff.
•Continuous Improvement: Actively embrace continuous improvement tools and techniques, providing feedback and suggestions for process efficiency and creative problem-solving.
