PROSPERO TEACHING \n \nAs one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero are looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Cardiff. Training will be provided for manual handling, however candidates must be proactive and attentive within this role and able to take initiative. \n \nThis role will require the candidate to work full time and must be able to commit to the entire academic year, in order to provide continuity for the pupil.
This is a 1:1 position and the candidate must have experience supporting vulnerable children. \n \nCONTRACT DETAILS \n* Location - Cardiff \n* Position - Teaching Assistant \n* Type of work - Teaching Assistant \n* Contract or position start date - ASAP \n* Duration / Likely Duration - 6 Months \n* Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary \n* Full time/part time - Full time \n* Minimum rate of pay - GBP84.69 daily. \n* Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm \n \nEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS \n*Education Workforce Council (EWC) Membership \n*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist) \n \n*Experience as a support worker or teaching assistant \n \nTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: \n*Hold Right to Work in the UK \n*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application \n*Provide two professional child related references \n \nTo register your interest in becoming a Teaching Assistant with Prospero in the Cardiff area please send your CV to (url removed) or call Erin on (phone number removed).
