We’re currently seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support a high-impact data migration and performance tuning project on a contract basis.
? Location: Primarily remote – one day per month in office
? Start Date: ASAP
? Duration: Initial 6 months, with potential extension
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform BAU support and troubleshooting across a complex data estate
* Conduct performance tuning and architecture analysis
* Run SQL Server analysis to understand application usage
* Support and manage application-related data requirements
* Assist with basic testing and end-to-end project delivery
* Go beyond traditional DBA maintenance—think strategically and analytically
* 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server (2016 and above)
* Azure cloud exposure, especially on-prem to Azure migration
* Skilled in PowerShell scripting
* Solid grasp of SQL Server Service Bus and modern architecture practices
