The Job Role Position: Due to continued growth and an expanding order book, the company is recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their machining team. This is a hands-on role, programming at the machine using a laptop, setting and operating CNC lathes, and producing a variety of components in small to medium batch sizes. Responsibilities include: Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines Working directly from engineering drawings and specifications Programming at the machine using OneCNC (or similar) via laptop Selecting tooling, setting offsets, and optimising cutting conditions Producing a wide range of precision components for multiple industries Monitoring machining processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment Carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic fault finding Working closely with supervisors and team members to improve processes The Candidate: Minimum 5 years' experience as a CNC Turner in a Programmer / Setter / Operator capacity Strong experience programming at the machine Confident reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings Good understanding of materials and machining processes Comfortable working on a variety of products rather than long-run work Familiar with CAD/CAM software such as OneCNC Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Ability to Commute: Must be able to commute to CV9 1HU Ability to Relocate: Willing to relocate to CV9 before starting work (required) Apply: To apply for the CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter / Operator position, click the button below and one of our experienced consultants will be in touch to discuss the role in more detail.
