Job Description Host and Catering Assistant | Part Time | Permanent | Elland Spire Elland are currently looking for a Host and Catering Assistant to join the catering team on a part time, permanent basis. Part time of 24hrs per week (days to be discussed) You will be required to work across the catering, ward and kitchen departments Shift patterns are between 7am-8pm Monday to Saturday with 7am-2pm Sundays Spire Elland Hospital has been providing high levels of medical treatment and personal care since 1985. Our hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team on-site who practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, and cosmetic procedures. Duties And Responsibilities To work in close liaison with the clinical staff, understanding the special needs of the hospital on a day to day basis To be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the equipment provided, checking for faults and supply shortages and reporting them to the line manager Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations including COSHH Work with guidance on moving and handling, as identified in corporate and local policy and discussed at Mandatory training sessions. Quality assurance and patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
