Regional Sales Development Manager - UKI & South Africa

Responsibilities
* Work closely with the UK Business Unit, managing and leading a team of 9+ Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and Lead Development Representatives (LDR) to generate new business opportunities.
* Own all lead‑management processes within the territory and drive the success of the team, ensuring a high‑quality, healthy pipeline of opportunities delivered to field partners.
What you will do
* Support and coach the UKIS&A Sales Development team covering Enterprise and Mid‑Market sectors, leveraging research and qualification techniques.
* Act as a true leader, facilitating continuous improvement and development for high performance and engagement.
* Motivate and guide the team to achieve overall goals and drive transformations to align behaviors with business objectives.
* Use all available means to support the team in producing a regular flow of qualified, sales‑ready opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with the UK Business Unit, Sales VPs, Managers and other departments.
* Ensure the Sales Development process is followed correctly, maintain CRM accuracy, and report directly to the Vice President.
* Manage inbound lead processes, validate and allocate leads, and control lead flow.
* Organise regular meetings, provide feedback, conduct performance appraisals, and support skill development.
* Handle escalations, participate in recruiting and onboarding, and maintain administrative needs for the team.
* Own SDR and LDR processes, keep workflows and knowledge content updated, and lead innovation projects for pipeline growth.
Who you are as a professional
* At least 2–3 years of management experience, preferably in Sales or Sales Development roles.
* Target‑driven with experience in prospecting, leads and opportunities within a CRM environment (Salesforce.com desirable).
* Comfortable building professional relationships and engaging with senior leaders and C‑Suite contacts.
* Entrepreneurial by nature with a passion for pipeline growth and associate development.
* Knowledgeable in digital communication tools such as social media, video or phone selling, and email marketing.
* Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and an articulate business communicator.
