£38,000 + Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a well-established and growing professional services organisation based in Portchester. Offering a salary of up to £38,000 plus an excellent benefits package, this role can be considered on either a full-time or part-time basis with flexible working hours available. Working within a busy office-based environment, you will manage payroll processes for a varied client portfolio. Duties & Responsibilities Manage payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
Submit RTI information and maintain compliance with payroll legislation
Process statutory payments, pension auto-enrolment and pension uploads
Liaise with HMRC regarding payroll queries and technical matters
Carry out manual calculations and support wider payroll operations where required
What Experience is Required Previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau environment
Strong working knowledge of Sage Payroll and current UK payroll legislation
Excellent attention to detail, with knowledge of CIS being advantageous
