Newbridge Financial Planning Ltd is an established financial planning firm based in Northern Ireland. We specialise in Retirement Planning, Cash Flow Planning, Investments, Protection and Estate Planning for personal and corporate clients. This is a full-time, on-site role. The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly between our Belfast and Ballymena offices.
Responsibilities
Main Duties
* Financial administrator (pensions and investments) duties, including processing new business (application forms and online provider systems)
* Chase ongoing cases/outstanding LOAs and TOAs
* Place new plans on risk
* Liaison with policy providers and their systems to obtain data/research
* Prepare Suitability Reports (new business)
* Prepare client review reports (pre and post)
* Ensure Compliance Procedures are adhered to at all times
* Ensure Data Protection and Confidentiality policy is adhered to at all times
* Ensure all compulsory industry testing is completed within specified timescales
* Provide general support to the team and undertake any other duties as requested
Administrative Duties
* Provide administrative support to the team as a whole
* Preparation of client meeting folders/documentation
* Undertake file management duties including document scanning and filing
* Ensure the office environment is tidy and safe at all times
* Any other general administrative duties as required

What you bring
* ESSENTIAL: minimum of two years’ experience, working for an IFA (specifically, pensions and investments) in a financial services administrative role
* Excellent Analytical Skills expertise
* Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
* Understanding of data protection
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to follow established processes and procedures/verbal direction
* DESIRABLE: experience using Xplan
Your personal skills
* Organised, detailed and accurate with a high level of spelling and grammar
* Able to contribute as part of a team, as well as to work independently
* A high level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
* Ability to multi-task
