This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced role and enjoys taking ownership of the purchase ledger function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process high-volume purchase invoices with accuracy and efficiency
* Match, batch and code invoices in line with company procedures
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
* Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs
* Manage supplier queries professionally and in a timely manner
* Maintain and update supplier records
* Support month-end close processes as required
To be successfully considered you will have:
* Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
* Proficient with Excel and financial software (Sage, Xero or similar)
* Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
