We have an exciting opportunity for a Caseworker (known internally as Independent Victim Advocate) to join the West Midlands team, working 37.5 hours a week, based in our Coventry office. Victim Support offers a hybrid working policy, allowing some days from home.

About the role:
This role is based at our Birmingham office with hybrid working options. Travel across the area is required, with expenses reimbursed. Working hours are Monday and Tuesday 8am-4pm, Wednesday 12noon-8pm.
As a Caseworker, you will:
* Manage a caseload, delivering services via phone, video, and in person
* Assess needs and risks at initial contact and ongoing
* Develop, deliver, and monitor safety/support plans for those affected by crime
* Provide resources, interventions, and information to support service users
* Assist service users in building coping mechanisms and practical support
* Identify and act on safeguarding concerns
* Collaborate with key partners
* Use case management systems to maintain records and monitor outcomes
* Deliver awareness sessions and participate in community events
You will need:
* An understanding of the impact of crime
* Effective communication skills
* Experience in delivering services within statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency settings
* Ability to prioritize and manage competing needs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
