Responsibilities
* Planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
* Creating a safe and secure environment, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are met.
* Building strong relationships with children and their families, providing regular communication and support.
* Observing and assessing children’s progress, preparing developmental reports to track milestones.
* Working closely with colleagues to deliver an engaging and tailored curriculum that meets each child\'s needs.
* Encouraging positive behaviour management and supporting children in developing key social skills.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all safeguarding and welfare regulations.
* Taking part in staff meetings, training, and professional development to continuously enhance your childcare skills.
What We’re Looking For
* A recognized childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
* A strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A team player with a proactive and caring approach.
* Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and best practices in early years education.
