Proactive Account Manager
£33,600 salary, £18,000 OTE bonus
St Neots, Cambridgeshire

We’re working with a leading global organisation in the electrical distribution sector, offering products, solutions, and services to clients across multiple industries. With a strong international presence and a reputation for long-term growth and employee development, they are looking to add a Proactive Sales Account Manager to their UK team.

The Role

As a Proactive Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a defined geographical territory, developing relationships with existing accounts, and maximising revenue opportunities across a wide range of infrastructure products.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building client relationships, achieving targets, and spotting opportunities to grow accounts to their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve revenue targets within your designated area

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients

Promote products, services, and solutions to a wide customer base

Provide feedback on competitor and market trends

Manage daily workload effectively and report on activity

Follow up on leads generated by marketing campaigns

Deliver product sales volume targets

What You’ll Need

Previous experience in sales (ideally account management or phone-based selling)

A proven track record of achieving sales results

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Educated to GCSE standard (including Maths and English at grade C or above)
