The Role
* Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism
* Leading on teaching and learning within the DT department
* Driving high standards in coursework, NEA, and project-based learning
* Supporting curriculum development and assessment strategies
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety across workshops
* Coaching and mentoring colleagues to ensure consistent high-quality practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Design & Technology or a closely related subject
* Proven experience teaching DT at secondary level
* A strong track record of excellent pupil outcomes
* Experience leading initiatives or contributing to departmental improvement
* High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and achievement
