CNC Turner
Location: Close to Southend Airport
Salary: £30,000–£35,000
Working Pattern: Monday–Thursday, 06:45–16:30 (37 hours, 4-day week)
Syntech Recruitment are partnering with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Set & Operate with Editing) to join their production team.
This is a permanent opportunity within a stable and supportive engineering environment, offering a 4-day working week and long-term security.
CNC Turner Responsibilities
* Setting and operating CNC turning machines
* Editing programmes at the machine (Fanuc or similar controls)
* Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
* Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and specifications
* Conducting first-off and in-process inspections
* Using micrometres, verniers and precision measuring equipment confidently
* Maintaining machine performance and carrying out basic preventative maintenance
* Adhering to safe working practices at all times
CNC Turner Experience
* Proven CNC turning experience at set and operate level
* Confident editing programmes directly at the machine
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Solid inspection and measurement capability
* Reliable, quality-focused and team-oriented approach
The Package
* £35,000 basic salary
* Permanent, full-time position
* Monday–Thursday working week (37 hours)
