Position
We are looking for an Assistant Scientist to assist in the cleaning and maintenance of a wide range of water quality monitoring equipment and to assist in the operation of our quality assurance system.
The Team
The National Water Quality Instrumentation Service provides support to instrument‑based water quality monitoring undertaken. We deliver a service that underpins the Environment Agency’s regulatory responsibilities and play a central role in developing and expanding real‑time water quality monitoring.
Qualifications
* Preference will be given to those with laboratory or workshop experience.
* Interest in science or engineering.
* Open and willing to learn.
* Good communication skills.
* Team player.
* GCSE English, maths and science would be an advantage but not essential.
Training
All training will be provided.
