Design Technology Technician – Full-time, long-term temporary position starting as soon as possible

Duties as Design Technology Technician:
* Prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons in design technology
* Maintain tools, machinery and workshop areas to ensure safety and functionality
* Support teaching staff during lessons and demonstrations
* Assist pupils with practical tasks and project work
* Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Contribute to the smooth running of the department
* Experience working in a school workshop or similar technical environment
* Knowledge of design technology tools, machinery and materials
* Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
