Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while managing the front of house operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food service. You will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily front of house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
* Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices.
* Manage team dynamics, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
* Assist with food production and preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of hospitality at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
* Maintain inventory levels for front of house supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in team management with the ability to lead by example.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production.
* Experience as a barista or within hotel settings would be advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
