The Role: CNC Machinist Location: Brackley Schedule: Permanent | Monday to Friday 0800 - 1630 Salary: £35,360 per annum. Sector: Engineering & Manufacturing (Automotive & Formula One) The Opportunity Our client who are a leading manufacturing company working with high performance luxury automotive and motor sport clients has an opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. Working within a small but busy team, the successful candidates will be operating, setting CNC machines to produce moulds and patterns to be used to manufacture carbon composite parts. Having worked as a CNC Machinist within the automotive sector would be preferred but is not essential. The Role As a CNC Machinist a typical day will be the following Set and operate 5 Axis Machines being 2 CMS ARES and 1 CMS ARES machines Download Programmes Work form technical drawings produced by Powermill, and follow specific job cards to ensure accurate manufacture. Working to tight technical specifications Performing quality checks on manufactured components Skills and attributes To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have the following Be an experienced CNC Machinist who can set and operate and perform basic programme downloads Has ideally worked as a CNC Machinist with the Automotive sector Familiar with CMS ARES Machines would be advantageous Previous experience with CMS Fanuc controls would be preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a very busy production Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
