Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will join a structured engineering team and report to the Site Services Manager. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with an electrical bias and be skilled in general repair and maintenance tasks beyond specific trades.
Responsibilities include:
* Completing statutory servicing & inspections
* Electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
* Building repairs including joinery and plumbing
* Daily checks and maintenance of boilers, CHP, effluent plant, air compressors
* General site maintenance and repairs
* Supporting engineering functions and manufacturing operations
* Sprinkler system checks
* Continuous improvement initiatives
* Supporting audits and safety compliance
* Maintaining site security systems and utilities

Minimum qualifications include:
* Proven Trade Background (Apprenticeship qualified preferred)
* BS7671 – 18th Edition
* BS2391 – Inspection & Testing
* Ability to follow instructions and perform mathematical calculations
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrable experience as a qualified Electrical Engineer
