About the role: As EMV Capital continues to grow its VC practice, we have a new and exciting role for an experienced Investor Relations Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a high‑visibility fundraising role with responsibility for originating, managing, and closing investment commitments from High‑Net‑Worth and family office investors. We are a collaborative, dynamic and high performing team and are looking for a self-starter that can take on responsibility quickly and operate with minimal supervision to help shape EMVC’s next phase of growth. The successful candidate will work alongside the Management and the Business Development team, to strengthen and support the firm’s interactions with Ultra /High Net Worth and family office investors. The candidate will also get unique exposure to our exciting portfolio, and work with other parts of the business – providing the opportunity to rapidly learn and develop professionally. This is a role with substantial scope to grow alongside the organisation, reflecting EMVC’s ongoing expansion and increasing fundraising ambitions. The ideal candidate with have previous experience in a sales role within the EIS/tax efficient space either in house or as a broker. Candidates outside of this space will also be considered providing they have direct investment sales experiences with Ultra / High Net Worth investors. In line with the sectors of focus of EMV Capital (life sciences, sustainability, industrials), we are seeking candidates who have a passion for innovation and technology. This role is based in EMV’s London office in Mayfair, which currently operates a hybrid working model with core office days Tuesday - Thursday. Responsibilities: Raising capital from High-Net-Worth individuals via EIS, CLA’s and secondary opportunities into EMV’s direct opportunities, or diversified fund. Working with the broader team to map out fundraising opportunities Working alongside the deal origination team in developing the investment readiness of the companies Support the development of the fund-raising platform and infrastructure Work closely with EMV Capital’s research, portfolio management and management services team Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role A scientific degree (or similar) would be advantageous RDR Level 4 qualifications (or equivalent) preferable Demonstrable track record of fund-raising via EIS. Experience raising funds for life sciences and deeptech companies advantageous Demonstrable experience in building a ‘book’ of investors from origination through to closing Professional and eloquent communicator Excellent written and communication skills Diligent CRM management (ideally Salesforce) Microsoft Office proficiency EMVC is an equal opportunities employer.
