Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement long- and short-term sales strategies aligned with corporate growth goals.
* Market Development: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, gaps, and new business opportunities across the UK.
* Client Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with architects, lighting designers, consultants, and contractors to influence project specifications and drive sales.
* Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and mentor the UK sales team to deliver exceptional performance and continuous growth.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the marketing, product, and technical teams to align go-to-market efforts.
* Performance Management: Set KPIs, track performance metrics, and utilize CRM tools to analyze data and improve sales efficiency.
* Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on key opportunities to increase revenue and expand LEDFlex’s footprint within the region.
* Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead high-level negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract management.
* Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the UK sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and return on investment.
* Reporting & Insights: Provide regular updates to the Global Sales Director on sales progress, market intelligence, and strategic shifts.


Experience

* 7–10+ years of sales and business development experience in architecture, lighting, or construction sectors
* Demonstrated success in leading teams and delivering sustained revenue growth
* Experience working with design professionals and project stakeholders in a technical sales environment


Education

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field


Skills

* Strong leadership and people management abilities
* Deep understanding of the project sales cycle within the built environment
* Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Capsule or HubSpot) and data-driven sales forecasting
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach


Location: Based in London or Winchester – able to travel within UK/Europe
