What you’ll do on a typical day:
Own all aspects of site-level financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
* Provide financial insight to support decisions on resource planning, productivity, and contract performance
* Track and analyse key cost drivers including labour efficiency, transport costs, warehouse consumables, and overheads
* Work with department heads to build bottom-up budgets for labour, transport, and warehouse operations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Prior Third Part Logistics experience would be advantageous
* Experienced in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings
* Knowledge of financial management systems, while having experience of Oracle would be advantageous
* Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
* Ideally fully CIMA or ACCA qualified, or actively studying towards
