National, modern and forward-thinking, a top 50 UK law firm with over 1000 people, including 125 Partners, wishes to attract a Lawyer to work in either Bristol, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich, Norwich, or Sevenoaks.
Role details
This is a rare opportunity to transition into a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) role, where you’ll play a crucial part in keeping a highly regarded Corporate Team ahead of the curve. You’ll work alongside an existing PSL, supporting a team of over 60 corporate lawyers, including partners, who handle a wide range of high-value and complex transactions.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring and updating the team on key legal developments in corporate law
* Working with the Knowledge Management Team to implement innovative tools that enhance efficiency and client service
* Developing and maintaining internal knowledge resources, including precedent banks and best practice guides
* Delivering training programmes for fee earners at all levels, ensuring the team stays technically excellent
* Providing technical legal support to fee earners, assisting with research and complex queries
* Producing client briefings and thought leadership materials to enhance market presence

Who We’re Looking For
* 6+ years’ PQE with significant corporate transactional experience
* Strong drafting and research skills, with a passion for knowledge sharing
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with the confidence to deliver training
* An enthusiasm for innovation, embracing new legal technologies and ways of working
* A proactive, team-focused approach, with the ability to engage at all levels
