About Us
At our school in the beautiful village of Compton Dundon, Somerset, we believe education doesn't just happen inside four walls. Our Outdoor Education/Forest School programme is an integral part of what we do, giving children the chance to learn through exploration, creativity, and adventure.
We're looking for someone energetic, innovative, and ready to lead exciting outdoor experiences that will inspire our students and enrich our school community.
The Role
As our Outdoor Education Instructor, you'll:

· Work closely with staff to integrate outdoor learning into our curriculum.
· Maintain a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
· Take a lead role in expanding our outdoor education offer and shaping its future.
· Perform the role of TA in class when not leading outdoor sessions
Who We're Looking For
· We don't just want qualifications – we want someone who is professional, caring and committed to providing first class education to our pupils.
You'll be someone who:

· Thrives in the outdoors – come rain or shine.
· Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Holds (or is willing to work towards) a Forest School qualification.
· First Aid certification is a bonus, but training can be provided.
· If you have experience in environmental education, youth work, outdoor pursuits, or teaching, this role could be perfect for you.

· Be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team that values creativity and wellbeing.
· Opportunities for professional development and training.
· The chance to make a real impact on young people's lives every single day.
