Ready to take ownership of the systems that power our business? We’re looking for a Lead Software Configuration Analyst to join our growing team.
In this role, you’ll manage and maintain configurations across key platforms including Financial Cloud and Lateral, ensuring every change is developed, tested, and deployed in line with company standards. Working closely with business stakeholders, you’ll translate requirements into effective system solutions that support operational and strategic goals.

So, what will your day-to-day look like?
Configuration Management
* Manage configuration changes to Financial Cloud and Lateral based on approved business requirements.
* Plan, design, and deliver configuration updates, ensuring accuracy and consistency across environments.
* Create and maintain templates, data fields, pages, workflows, rules, and callflows.
* Manage and maintain the Rules Engine and other configurable elements to support business logic and automation.
* Provide ongoing configuration support based on evolving business needs.
Business Analysis & Collaboration
* Collaborate with business owners to gather, document, and validate requirements for configuration changes.
* Conduct impact assessments and ensure all proposed changes align with operational and compliance objectives.
* Liaise with internal teams and third-party providers to coordinate configuration activities.
* Recommend configuration improvements or optimisations based on analysis and user feedback.
Delivery & Quality Assurance
* Deliver configuration changes within agreed timelines and according to company delivery frameworks.
* Conduct testing, validation, and peer reviews prior to production deployment.
* Ensure configuration changes adhere to version control standards and governance processes.
* Participate in projects requiring configuration support or input.
Continuous Improvement & Issue Resolution
* Analyse and resolve configuration issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Review and refine configuration processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
* Proactively identify risks or improvement opportunities in configuration practices.
Does this sound like you?
Essential
* Experience in software configuration or systems administration within a complex business environment.
* Strong understanding of configuration management principles and change control frameworks.
* Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into configuration specifications.
* Hands-on experience with configuration tools and workflow management systems (e.g. Financial Cloud, Lateral, or similar).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Strong documentation, testing, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple configuration changes simultaneously.
Desirable
* Experience working within a regulated or financial services environment.
* Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD concepts.
* Familiarity with ITIL or structured change management processes.
* Understanding of automation, workflow design, and data configuration principles.
The Application Timeline
* A first stage video call with the internal talent acquisition team (15 minutes)
* A second stage competency interview/test with the hiring manager (45 minutes)
* A face to face interview with the Head of Department (60 minutes)
