Overview
The Role: Experienced Multi-Trade Roofer opportunity focused on solar PV installation and roofing maintenance across various roof styles.
Responsibilities
* Install Solar PV and associated works
* Identify and rectify roofing defects
* Survey, remove and replace roof coverings across various roof styles
* Re-bed and renew hip and ridge tiles
* Repair and replace lead valleys
* Point, repair and rebuild chimney stacks, re-bed/renew chimney pots
* Repair mineral felt and asphalt flat roof coverings
* Renew/repair lead flashing to chimneys and upstands
* Liaise with customers while arranging and carrying out work, ensuring a professional service
* Work from written and verbal instructions, drawings, diagrams and measurements
Requirements
* Time-served or completed a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3)
* Competent in all aspects of roofing, including maintenance on domestic properties and high-rise blocks
* Experience with general roof work and confined spaces
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, asbestos awareness certification, and own tools
