About the Role
We are currently looking for a Plumbing Project Manager to join our team. You must have strong communication and organizational skills to succeed in a multi-team environment. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget. Work directly with job foremen to maximize labor while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Ability to work in a busy environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
Responsibilities
* Establish project budget and schedule of values
* Coordinate with purchasing for buyout of all materials, equipment, and subcontracts; utilize estimates to maintain budget
* Submit monthly project billings
* Assist with payment collections on applicable projects
* Provide accurate job cost and cash flow projections
* Provide accurate project manpower projections with the project foreman
* Review permit documents, submittals, subcontracts, and purchase orders
* Coordinate and release material/equipment deliveries according to project schedule
* Attend project management meetings
* Conduct site visits as needed
* Review change order request estimates
* Update manpower and schedules weekly
* Collaborate with Coordination to prepare schedules
* Resolve contract disputes with vendors, GCs, and subcontractors
* Work with Assistant Project Managers on project aspects
* Schedule and provide owner trainings as needed
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, Sage 300CRE
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High level of problem-solving ability
* Ability to manage shifting priorities and lead teams
* Thorough knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, and the construction industry
* Extensive knowledge of MA building codes and standards
